It's an entertaining family occupation
- collect "cider apples" and sort out them, wash them and crush them.
- put the crushed apples in linen bags for pressing.
- turn the wheel to press the bags of crushed apples and collect the juice which flows
- taste the apple juice!
- put the juice in barrels and it will ferment on its own.....(about 3 weeks )
- when the moon is in the last quarter and the weather is good, bottle the cider; cork and label the bottles
