Change is both difficult and exhilarating

Our new school year started succesfully, with many changes - but in many ways we are still the same old friendly Play and Learn.

Fiona has taken over the Intensive Mondays and Saturdays.
Anne-Marie, who is Welsh not French, has four children's groups on Wednesdays.
Nick2 takes four classes (1 adults and 3 children) on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Nick1 has extended his duties to both Tuesday and Thursday adults' evening groups.
Joel, who is English not French, is now looking after Tuesday daytime adults, Wedneday afternoon children, and Play and Learn and Sing (the choir); and he is the new Directeur, responsible for all organisational and day-to-day issues.
I wish them all well for the future - and I shall continue to be available in the background to help when needed.

At the AGM on Friday 2 Dec., our new Statutes were approved unanimously (so that they can now be officially submitted to the authorities), as were the accounts for financial year 2015-16.

We urgently need to find a new Treasurer; Delphine wishes to stop these duties as she has too many other responsabilities. Without a Treasurer, an Association like ours cannot continue. Please help, if you have accounting skills and/or experience, by volunteering to become our new Treasurer.

The Committee remains unchanged with Olena President, Delphine Treasurer, Cathy Secretary, Michel Deputy Secretary.
