On the 26th May 2018 we went on our annual day trip - this time to the town of Dover on the south coast of England.
We were extremely lucky with the weather and had a wonderful day. The sea was calm on the way and on the way back - phew!
Most of us visited the castle of Dover which has many interesting things to see, and also it was a special World War II weekend, so there were people dressed up in WWII army costumes etc.
At the castle we visited secret wartime tunnels, medieval tunnels, a roman lighthouse, an underground hospital and King Henry II's chambers.
Overall we had a great day, and definately hope to visit the castle again one day.
